Run Searches from Your Search History
Avantis automatically saves your last 20 searches, making it easy to revisit and refine past queries. Follow these steps to access your search history.

Accessing Search History in the Search Panel

Click History on the right side of your full-text search box.

A list of your last 20 searches will appear.

Each entry includes the full-text search language and a list of criteria used, with a number in brackets:

This number represents how many values were selected for that search criteria.

Comparing these numbers helps distinguish similar searches as you refine your results.

Click any search from the list to reload it in the search panel.

Make any necessary changes.

Click Search to run it again.
Accessing Search History in the Document Viewer

Open the full-text viewer and ensure you’re viewing a document.

Click into the Search contents of filings... full-text search box under the document title.

You’ll see the full-text component of your last 20 searches.

Click any search from the list to apply it to the currently loaded document.
This feature helps you quickly revisit previous searches, refine your results, and stay efficient in your workflow.
