Review and Provide Feedback on the Avantis Roadmap

 

Your feedback is invaluable to us. Avantis is dedicated to serving the Canadian business, professional services, and regulatory sectors by incorporating datasets and features that genuinely address the needs of our users. To achieve this, we share our product roadmap and invite your input. We are confident that, together, we can create a top-tier solution that effectively serves the Canadian market.

Below, you'll find ways to provide feedback on our roadmap and propose new development ideas. We are eager to hear from you!

  1. Click into Avantis Roadmap in the left margin
  2. Navigate the various tabs/categories if desired
  3. Comment on any proposed feature
    1. Tell us every detail about your idea that would make your workflow easier
    2. Your comments are private
    3. You can see how many people commented but you cannot read anyone's comments except your own
  4. Submit a new idea if you don't have time to see if it's already in the backlog

Giving Feedback on an Idea

  1. Open the Product Roadmap by clicking the compass icon in the left pane. (See screenshot above.)
  2. Browse feature suggestions in the Under Consideration, Planned, In Development, or Launched tabs.
  3. Click on a feature you'd like to provide feedback on.
  4. Rate its importance as:
    1. Nice to have
    2. Important
    3. Critical
  5. Add a comment to provide context or additional insights.

How Feedback is Handled:

  • A red feedback icon will appear on the idea, visible to all users.

  • Other users won’t see your name or comments, only the number of users who have provided feedback.

  • Your feedback remains anonymous to encourage honest input.

  • Comments are reviewed internally by Avantis staff.

  • In some cases, Avantis may reach out for further discussion.

Submitting a New Idea

  1. Click Submit Idea (see screenshot above).
  2. Describe your suggested feature.
  3. Rate its importance (Nice to have, Important, or Critical).
  4. Click Submit.

Avantis will review your idea and may add it to the Under Consideration group for anonymous feedback from other users. If needed, we may reach out to discuss your suggestion further.
